Yesterday the 60° festival of italian music (performed in Sanremo) is ended, and I watched it on Tv. I watched only the final part, because really I'm bored about this kind of show. However there were some good performances, some young singers with a nice voice and better song than others, so I began to believe that it was something of good. I just waited for the final victory, sure that the winner was one of these more promising talents, but at the last selection before the final (where there was the choice of the last three singers), all the better singers are called out. Everyone! The vote is 50% for the orchestra and for the other 50% from home (the people sends an sms for saying who is the favourite singer for them), and the orchestra (but also all the public in the theater) remonstrates a lot about this decision. The strange thing is that at the final step is arrived the song of a prince, Emanuele Filiberto, who descends from the ancient italian royal family (Savoia). He is not a singer, now he begins to become a showman. His song speaking about Italy, God and Family (!!!???). Played not so good. With a bad text. So all the public didn't like it. But it arrived in final (but didn't win, luckly).

I don't know why it happened, if the cause is the audience of show, so for the necessity to create suspect, complaints, caos; or if the richness of the prince permitted him to pay a lot of persons to send sms for him; or finally because someone decided that the patriotic (!!!!????) text of the song is a good idea it this moment, a good idea to listen much, to diffuse in all the houses of the country; I don't know the motive. But I was disgusted about it. I watched humiliate again the young italian talents, I watched the better individualities drove out from the stage, the mediocrity going to win.

Often we heared that TV is the mirror of society. Yesterday night I was frightened about this sentence.
